De Dutch Shinkendo - Aikido/Aikibujutsu Federation is lid van de International Shinkendo Federation (ISF). De ISF is een organisatie die door Obata Toshishiro Kaiso is opgericht en wordt bestuurd en heeft als doel Shinkendo en Aikido/Aikibujutsu scholen over de hele wereld te promoten, ondersteunen en reguleren.

Tevens zijn wij bij de NCS (Nederlandse Culturele Sportbond) aangesloten en daarmee en rijkserkende organisatie.

De Europese Honbu dojo bevindt zich in Amsterdam waar Sensei Brent Hire, de hoofdinstructeur voor Europa, les geeft. Overige dojo locaties kunnen hier gevonden worden.
